Calorifers КСКare designated for air heating in the heating, ventilation and conditioning systems. Air should have maximum permissible concentration of chemically active materials as per GOST 12.1.005-76, dust content not more than 0,5 mg/m3 and no adhesive substances and fibrous materials. Calorifers КСК are designated for operation under conditions of cold climate of the 3rd category of location as per GOST 15150-69. Calorifers КСКmay be applied as a heat-utilizer with intermediate heattransfer agent. Calorifers КСКshould not be installed on the objects, which generate outer vibration with mean square value of more than 2 mm/sec. In winter period operation of the calorifers кскshould be started with the rate of temperature rise not more than 30 ° Сper hour.

Steam calorifer КСК3 have three and КСК4 have four rows of heat-transferring elements made of steel tube 16х1,2 with aluminium helical rolled ribbing ~29 mm. Calorifer consists of heat-transferring elements, tube grids, covers and detachable zinc-coated shields. Oval holes 12х16 located from the sides of tube grids and detachable shields are designated for calorifers installation and fastening during installation.

Calorifers made of stainless steels are manufactured of steel stainless tube 16х1,5 12Х18Н10Тand aluminium rolled ribbing with nominal diameter of 39 mm, correspondingly. Grid (cover) is made of stainless steel 12Х18Н10Т. Shield (side panel) – from zinc-coated metal.

Water calorifers КСК-3 и КСК-4 are made of hydraulically tested and heat-treated tubes manufactured by OJSC “Pervouralskiy Novotrubniy Zavod”; these tubes are made according to GOST 10704-91В/ГОСТ10705-80.

Specifications of calorifers КСк2, КСк3 and КСк4

Specifications are given for the following mode:
•  Water temperature at inlet – 150° С;
•  Water temperature at outlet – 70° С;
•  Air temperature at inlet – minus 20° С;
•  Mass velocity in incoming flow – 3,6 kg/m2sec;
•  Water velocity in tubes – 0,7 ± 0,035 m/sec;
•  Aerodynamic resistance of 3-row calorifers – 53,5 +4,28
•  Aerodynamic resistance of 4-row calorifers – 68,2 +5,46
Heat-transfer agent – hot or superheated water having the following parameters:
•  Operating pressure, not more – 1,2 MPa;
•  Temperature, not more – 190° С
Reliability indexes:
•  Mean lifetime, years, not less – 11;
•  Complete specified service life, hours, not less – 13200;
•  Specified no-failure operating time, hours, not less – 3000;
•  Mean restoration time, hours, not more– 12.
Attention! Calorifers КСК, by their main specifications, may completely replace such analogues as 113. Example: КСК2-1- 02ХЛМЗcorresponds to ВНВ113-201-01У3.
