CYCLONES СИОТ

The cyclone СИОТ is used for average and rough gas purification from particles of dry not fibrous dust. СИОТ is a dry cyclone which is applied depending on requirements and conditions of cleaning as the independent unit, or the device of preliminary action. This type of cyclones is capable to catch the dust arising in the course of roasting, combustion of fuel and also limy and other types of dust.

СИОТ is used in a working environment where the dust content of gas does not exceed 300g/m3. Application of installation in the explosive environment with existence hard dust is inadmissible. The high-speed СИОТ has two modified designs – M and M1. СИОТ-M is a cyclone of the increased efficiency. It differs from other cyclones in the cylindrical insert promoting decrease in intensity of a whirlwind in the lower part of the unit, it allows to lower extent of secondary ablation by 2 – 2.5 times.

СИОТ – M1 differs not only the increased efficiency, but also productivity. Its design feature is the insert which divides a stream into two parts, sending one to the top part of a cyclone, and the second to lower.

It is possible to identify its productivity by number of a cyclone. For example, СИОТ 5 – is calculated on the volume of the purified air of equal 4500 m3/h, СИОТ 7-cleans 7500 cubic meters of air within an hour.
