Application

These fans are designed to remove combustion gases in case of fire and simultaneous removal of heat from the room; they can move gas-air mixtures with temperatures up to 400°C and up to 600°C for at least 120 minutes. At the same time, they locate the fire zone to ensure the possibility of carrying out fire extinguishing and rescue of people and equipment.

Structural versions

ВОДМ-ДУ fans are manufactured in 9 sizes (No. 4; 5; 6.3; 7.1; 8; 9; 10, 11.2; 12.5) and have four structural options, differing in the fastening of the cowl and the availability of a flow straightener (FS):

• Version 1 (FS and stand are unavailable)
• Version 2 (FS is available, the stand is unavailable)
• Version 3 (FS is unavailable, the stand is available)
• Version 4 (FS and stand are available)

Operation conditions

Fans must be installed outside the service room and outside the permanent human presence area. They are designed for operation in conditions of moderate climate temperate (M) and tropical (T) climate of the 2^nd location environmental class in accordance with GOST 15150.

Ambient temperature from -45 to + 40°C (-10 to +50°C for tropical version).

The moving medium under normal conditions should not contain sticky substances and fibrous materials, be aggressive towards carbonaceous steels above the aggressiveness of the air and contain dust and other solid impurities in a concentration of more than 0.1 g/m³. The average value of vibration in the places where the fan is installed shall be no more than 2 mm/s.
