Forced-draft blower fans can rotate clockwise and counterclockwise (i.e. right and left) if viewed in the direction of the motor.
The scroll casing of the fan is manufactures with the angle of 0- 270at every 15, the fins preventing the installation are slightly cut.

Description

Centrifugal induced-draft fans with two-way suction of DX2 type are used to suck flue gases from stationary steam generator furnaces.
Fans are assembled on pulverized-coal-fired boilers with balanced draft, the steam-generating capacity of which is between 220…480 t/h, which aresupplied with effective ash separators (residual dust content in flue gases does not exceed 1g/m3 , as well as gas-and-oil fired boilers with the balanced draft of the same capacity. Two fans per boiler ensure proper gas path characteristics.
The maximum intake temperature of handled gases should not exceed +250C.
The main components of fans are: the impeller, the carriage, the scroll casing, inlet boxes (left and right) and extract grilles (left and right) with the common drive.
The impeller consists of the forward aerofoil fan and the hob. 64 blades (32X2) are bent forward and molded to the hob. The impeller is placed between two cone disks.
The  carriage  consists  of  the  shaft,  two  split  bearing  cases,  two  self-aligning  double-row  ball bearings, two (left and right) seal assemblies, andthe elastic pin bush coupling used to couple the shaft of the unit with the motor shaft.
The scroll casing and inlet boxes are made of sheet and rolled steel. Insulation in the place where the carriage shaft goes through the walls of the inlet boxes prevents hot gases from leaking outside.
Fans  have  several  modifications  depending on  the  configuration  of  the  scroll  casing  discharge outlets and inlets in the inlet boxes.
